چکیده
As obligate intracellular parasites, viruses rely heavily on host cells for replication, and therefore dysregulate several cellular processes their benefit. In return, activate multiple signaling pathways to limit viral replication eradicate viruses. The present study explores the complex interplay between through next generation RNA sequencing as well mass spectrometry (SILAC). Both coding transcriptome proteome of human brain-derived U87 infected with Kunjin virus, Zika or Yellow Fever virus were compared mock-infected cells. Changes in abundance hundred mRNAs proteins found each infection. Moreover, alternative splicing hundreds was be modulated upon Interestingly, a significant disconnect changes those observed. These findings provide global view Flavivirus-infected cells, leading better comprehension Flavivirus–host interactions.

Yellow fever and Zika virus epizootics and enzootics in Uganda.
Data of monkey serology are presented which, together with past evidence, support the view that yellow fever (YF) virus circulates in its primary sylvan host populations, i.e., forest monkeys, in an enzootic state in Bwamba County in western Uganda but as series of epizootics in the forest-savanna mosaic zone of central Uganda. Evidence of an epizootic of Zika virus at the Zika Forest near Ente...

17D Yellow Fever Virus Vaccine
Dear Sir: In a recent article, Edupuganti and others reported a clinical study of co-administration of subcutaneous yellow fever (YF) 17D vaccine (YF-VAX Ò ; Sanofi Pasteur, Lyon, France) and intramuscular immune serum globulin (ISG) (amaSTAN S/D Ò ; Talecris Biotherapeutics, Research Triangle Park, NC) or saline placebo. 1 The study was designed to test whether co-administration of vaccine and...

Background: Infectious diseases are major public health problems, among which blood-borne ones are the most important infections. Patients who undergo orthopedic surgery are at higher risk of transmitting infectious diseases from and to others, due to repeated blood examinations and injection, drains secretion and receiving blood products. Accordingly, in this study we determined prevalence of ...
